We all go through trials in our lives that bring us to a critical point where we must decide whether to turn back or to push forward.
During the storm, you might feel as if your boat is sinking, and perhaps the safest thing to do is to turn back.
What you fail to realize in that moment is that the safest thing to do is to ask God into your boat and to continue in faith.
At the moment when the waves are the highest, it might be difficult to imagine being able to weather the storm. This is when true growth is made and character is built—but only if you choose to move forward with bold faith.
Ephesians 6:11-13 declares this truth clearly:
"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."
This Scripture reveals the reality we face: our true battle is spiritual warfare. It is not against people, circumstances, or even our own weaknesses alone. The enemy is unseen—principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual forces of evil.
As Christian men, we are in this fight every day. The attacks come against our minds, our marriages, our families, our integrity, our purpose, and our faith. If we ignore this battle or try to face it in our own strength, we will be overwhelmed. But God has not left us defenseless. He has provided the full armor so that we can stand firm.
This truth began to take root in my own life as I reflected on my journey. For years, I was building a relationship with God, but it was within the past year that I truly stopped to listen and obey what God was speaking to me and how He was guiding me.
The past few years have been a test, and I moved forward with faith, even though I did not always understand why I was taking certain steps. God had a definite plan.
One who stands firm in the armor of God does not need to worry. He is confident that he is protected by the Lord and walks with Him.
Recently, I found myself arguing with God when He placed it on my heart to delete all of my previous articles and content that I had posted and to start completely over with articles sharing what God has done in my life to help others along the way.
I am not going to lie—this was not easy.
It was not easy to humble myself and delete all of my previous portfolio of work to start over, but God was clear on this.
So I moved forward, in faith, putting on the full armor piece by piece, and obeyed.
From that moment, the mission began to come together.
The Armor of God is not just personal protection—it is a call to brotherhood in the spiritual battle. Christian men are not meant to fight alone. The enemy wants us isolated, distracted, and defeated. But Scripture shows us that we are stronger together. We need other men who will hold us accountable, pray with us, encourage us to put on the armor daily, and stand beside us when the attacks come.
True brotherhood means checking in on one another's battles—whether it is purity, leadership in the home, integrity at work, or resisting doubt and fear—and reminding each other to lift the shield of faith, wield the sword of the Spirit, and pray without ceasing.
This site exists to equip Christian men for this spiritual warfare. It is a place to dive deep into each piece of the armor: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, and the constant call to prayer. It is a place to share stories of battles fought and won, to build accountability, and to foster the kind of brotherhood that helps us all stand firm.
My story is simple: I was in the storm, arguing with God at times, but once I obeyed and suited up in His armor, things began to align. Now the calling is clear—help other men recognize the spiritual battle, put on the full armor of God every day, and stand together as brothers in Christ.
Suit up daily. Stand firm. Fight the good fight in brotherhood.
The mission: Equip Christian men with the full armor of God so that we can stand strong against spiritual warfare, lead our families with courage, guard our hearts and minds, support one another in accountability, and walk victoriously through every trial.
If you are ready to stop merely surviving the storms and start standing firm as a warrior equipped by Christ—alongside other brothers in the fight—you are in the right place.
Let us move forward together.
