During the past two years, one of the hardest things I had to learn was the meaning behind struggle. If we take it at face value without looking deeper, we can easily write it off as God punishing us, or the enemy wanting to hold us back from the blessings of God.

To stop at such a short sighted view of struggle is an injustice, and it causes us to miss the real opportunity for growth. This was not easy for me to understand. When you mix in the fact that I always want to be in control of the outcome, and am very impatient, it is easy to see how this process has taken some time for me to even begin to understand.

Struggle can be viewed as hard times, but with the right mindset, struggle can also be looked at as blessings and guidance from God. You may be asking yourself, why would God let this happen to me? Why can't he just remove this problem from my life? I want to ask you to stop and consider that the struggles you are going through are God's way of both turning your focus to him, and preparing you for the blessings that he knows you are not ready for yet.

If you go through your life thinking that everything you have accomplished is of your own doing, you will not receive the true blessing's that God wants to bestow upon you. When hard times hit you in the face like a tidal wave, and drag you under, leaving you fighting to keep afloat, if God took the struggles away without you first turning to him, you would not see that it was him pulling you out of the storm.

While sitting on the boat through the storm, It is easy to try to take control of the struggle, and attempt to pull yourself out, or complain that God is not there for you. Don't short yourself of God's blessing's by refusing to turn to and call out to him in the middle of the struggle. Do not also short yourself by overlooking the importance of the struggle, and what God is trying to teach you in the valley. If you do not truly learn what it is God is trying to teach you, he will not shower you with the blessings he has planned for you if you are not prepared from the growth that was intended for you.

Let me say this one more time:

"If you do not truly learn what it is God is trying to teach you, he will not shower you with the blessings he has planned for you if you are not prepared from the growth that was intended for you."

To realize the struggle that you are going through might not have been from God, but is being used by God to prepare you for future blessings, you line yourself up with the glory of God, and open up the opportunity to receive the miracles that he wants to bless you with. The next time you question why God is not helping you with your struggles, I ask you to consider why you are not turning to him, and quietly listening to what he has to say in order to help you get through the storm.

Until Next Time,
Before The Miracle, You Have To Trust The Process
